  1. Tiana and Jeff: I just found out from Amy Bhola and Elizabeth Spilotro. You are in my thoughts and prayers. 2012 will be year of health and healing – I am certain of that!

  2. As a dad, I understand that our kids are THE reason for so much of what we do gladly. My heart is with you guys.
I love that you all are ‘bringing it’. Larry is a strong young man with massive support.

  3. Tiana and Jeff, I just learned today about your wonderful boy Larry through Jill. I have been thinking about all of you all day and will pray for everyone, especially for Larry and a speedy recovery. You have my contact information and please call me if you need anything. Here is a website where you can setup a calendar to post schedules for whatever needs you might have during Larry’s recovery: http://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/
This is accessible to everyone. We will be mailing Larry some fun cards soon. Lots of hugs from me and my family. Margie, Luis, Little Luis and Adan Rdz.
p.s. Thank you for keeping us posted and will try to find you on facebook too.

  4. Larry, your pretend “cousin” in Atlanta sends you the biggest hug. I am going to make homemade chocolate ice cream for you when you come to Georgia next summer. That will make you feel better, I hope. Love Maxine (her direct quote to Larry).

  5. Dear Jeff and Tiana,

  6. Hi – My name is Lisa Reeves and I am the Triathlon Team in Training Captain for the Tucson team. I listened to you talk about your son Larry at the Kick-off meeting. He is one of our Honored teammates. We have another honored teammate named Amber Fernandez and she is 8 years old. I am almost positive that she and Larry are both at the Children’s Hospital together receiving treatment even as I write this. I was wondering if you knew her and her family. On April 1st our team is doing a fundraiser in Tucson at the Metal Arts Village. Amber’s uncle, Justin Fernandez has a band named Tesoro. It is a Latin Fusion Band. They are doing a benefit concert to help our team raise money for the continued research to cure your son. We would love for you to join us if at all possible. We would also love it if we could put Larry’s picture on our poster for the concert and a tshirt that we all want to wear. If this is OK please let me know. We were wondering if we could get Larry’s address so we could send him a card. We are all working hard on the team and want Larry to be as proud of us as we are of him. WE LOVE YOU LARRY _ GO TEAM!

  7. My name is Sophia and I worked with Larry throughout the Spring at Diamond’s (volunteering under Chelsea). I follow the blog to stay informed, and wanted you and your family to know that I pray for all of you every day and that God would just send his healing power over Larry’s body and a cloud of peace over your family during this journey.

  8. Hello Miss Tiana,

Miss Terry here, from TCC. You’re doing great! If we could all learn to live one day at a time and still strategically plan…my oh my, what would that look like! It’s hard to believe camp is nearly over too and please tell Larry that Miss Hallie and Miss Angie miss him (as do I). We also miss seeing you.

Let me know how you liked Lake Geneva…it is breathtaking in the fall.

    TTYL, Terry

  9. Tiana, I found out today about the tribulations your family has been going through at our staff meeting at Casa de la Luz. I just want you to know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. While my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2008, I can’t help but believe it is so different with your child. May God Bless Your Family

  10. Hi! I just got reading through a few of your posts. I am involved in the cancer community and had a quick question for you about your blog. I was hoping you could email me back when you get the chance. Thanks! – emilywalsh688@gmail(dot)com.
